Mission Statement
For the summer of 2008, I hope to secure an internship with a third-party logistics provider (3PL). I have been
exposed to various types of firms specializing in supply chain management and so far it seems that 3PL firms best align with
my interests, so I'd love the opportunity to further explore this type of industry. I love anything to do with transportation
and the movement of goods and people, whether by truck, plane, car, train, ship, or anything else.
Today's business environment is turbulent and I plan to contribute my nascent supply chain management skills to help
a firm gain and retain a competitive advantage in its industry. Applying new knowledge from this cutting edge field
to a 3PL provider sounds fascinating to me and I would love the chance to hone my skills accordingly.
